Malcolm has been blessed with a wonderfully complex family, an evil brother, an innocent sister, a brother who stands beside him and a much younger brother that just wants to be recognized as a man.. not a little boy. Tonquil, Malcolm's oldest brother lusts for power.. really only having two goals in life, to rule the world *sigh* another evil I wanna rule the world despot.. although he does want to return it to the old gods.. and his second desire is to destroy Malcolm in any way possible.

Ms Mayhue has stated that this was the start of a spin of series called The Warriors and she introduces is to many fascinating new characters and an entire new pantheon to deal with. *grins* she makes me smile every time Malcolm's brother and second in command Patrick calls Elesyria an elf.. She walks a fine line between telling a story about characters we have come to love and introducing the new series and she does a fine job. I am intrigued to see what is going to happen.. the sparks fly between Elesyria and Patrick will something come of that? We are promised a fine story between Christiana MacDowlyt and Chase Noble in a future book and of course the very vile Tonquil still lives.

I found it interesting I was never quite sure who was good and who was bad throughout the story. When family is involved there are always sure to be split loyalties..

Ms Mayhue has brought us another terrific story and I strongly suggest you read this book.

I love the time travel books. Yes, some have the same story line, but that doesn't mean the book isn't interesting. I loved this book and felt like Mayhue did it again! Romance and suspense. I will definitely continue with the series. A nice break from vampire and werewolf books.
A very nice continuation of the Glen series with new elements added. Sweet and romantic, Malcolm was a great hero. I recommend reading the other books before reading this one since Malcolm and other characters are mentioned in previous stories. The end leaves you hanging a bit, waiting for the next book, but overall very entertaining.
This was my first book by this author. I think the book has everything I could want. Highlanders, Fae, time travel, and a Norse connection. I became hooked and couldn't put the book down once I began reading. The next book in the series is waiting on my night stand.
Fantastic story with a sexy Highlander/Viking hero and a smart modern day beauty. Kept me completely absorbed and entertained throughout the entire book! I love that!

Melissa Mayhue has the perfect formula along with a clever, snappy writing style. I love ALL her books and highly recommend starting with her first book before reading this one.
I have all the books to this saga. Like all of Melissa's books. It was great and has become one of my collectors. These are books I love so much that I keep them and read them over and over and never get tiered of them. I'm also, always looking for new ones by her. I have yet to be disappointed with anything she writes. SF-NC
This was a new author for me, and I was somewhat nervous in my purchase so I tried the sample first. From the first page I was hooked and could not put it down- characters and plot was well thought out and developed. Story was fast paced, and very interesting. I enjoyed this book, and cannot wait to read more of Mrs. Mayhue's books. Even though I discovered that this was a series, with 'Warrior's Redemption' being the ninth book- I believe you do not need the background of the other stories to enjoy this book. This is the first book of the series that I read, and I enjoyed it greatly. Now all I need to do is read the other eight books!! Give this book, and this author a chance- if you like Scottish romances intertwined with a little magic/time travel and great leading characters you will be useless to everyone until you finish this book!
