I was shaky to get this novel at first, because I though it was the "gifted kids learning in a school" cliche, but I gave it a go. Glad I did because it was completely not what I expected. Really looking forward to the follow up to see how the story unfolds next. You'll like it of you like superheroes.

Awesome read. Some things could be improved upon but I really enjoyed the world it created. I look forward to the next book!
Good story, and an ending I didn't see coming. If you enjoy this I suggest checking out Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson. Another good twist on the hero genre.

I was expecting a pretty good read and was happy with the result. I've read the Warper series, and love a good "anti- hero" book. THE ONLY issue I have, is that it was a shorter read. That doesn't take away from the overall book though.
Loved it! One person in the story I kinds wanted to see evolve a little more than a cliche, but I have hopes for them in later books. Outside of that one character, I have no issues with the story. Even the "superman" style character has unique flaws. Def worth the dollar.
I’ve been reading the Warpers series and this didn’t disappoint. I’m pleasantly surprised that the author continues to keep a good momentum with the books he writes. Everyone writes sci-fi books, but it takes a good writer to separate himself with an interesting read.
I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but it's hard to be that in the world of superhero fiction. That's my two cents anyway. That aside the world building, and character development come off strong. You can also see a "magic system" of sorts with the rules that go along with some powers. I expect more diverse powers as the world unfolds. Still worthy of 5 stars.
