Interesting short story collection. Ms. Lee writes in a positive hand that does not show any pauses or lost thoughts. These tales are a bit dark but keep the reader's attention with believable twists and attention to detail.

This is well worth your time.

I knew after her first short story in a creative writing class that K.N. Lee was going to publish. With each story, she brings the dark and the bizarre. K.N. Lee weaves twisted tales via her strong women characters. The settings are eerie, the characters are tantalizing, and the plots are twisted. The stories are brief, but they create a desire from readers for more works from this author. She has a knack for leaving a story open for interpretation and ending with a twist. I look forward to reading more from her.
I got Thicker than Blood by K.N. Lee In the mail today and I finished reading it in less than one hour. And as I read it, I wanted to keep going further to find out what happens, like in any good book, it sucks you in. And after reading it, the three stories inside, stayed with me, and it gave me chills.
Thicker than blood easily reminds me of the chills you would get if you were reading any Stephan king novel or the works of Edgar Allen Poe. So if you want to read a book that will make your skin crawl in a good way, pick up a copy of Thicker Than Blood by K.N. Lee
This book of stories was so wonderful to read. K.N. Lee has once again created something wonderful. From the first short story to the third. It's short but of course because they are short stories. The leave you wondering what happened to these people, an the information you do find out leaves you wanting more. I would recommend this book to anyone!

I really enjoyed this collection of short stories. Each story paints a vivid picture and leaves you wondering at the end - what happens to the characters next? It's tantalizing in just the right way that makes a story great.
As I started reading the book, I was looking for something that tied into the title of the book. I had to be patient and keep reading. I won't give it away, but I will say this, both stories will make you think and may scare the heck out of a pre-teen girl. The stories reminded me of a Scooby-Doo story. Not in a funny way, but if you remember some of the Scooby-Doo ghost stories, then you know what I'm talking about. I enjoyed both books, as well as the lead in to the The Chronicles of Koa. A nice short read.
